We, Selective Memory, released our debut EP, and are pleased to present it to you.
It’s time to talk about it in more detail.
EP "Fear of the Dark" is the result of creativity, to which we were inspired by directors, cinematographers, writers, artists and ordinary talented people.
The story of four tracks is based on four cinematographic works: "The fear(s) of Darkness" (Peur(s) Du Noir), "Jacob's Ladder" (Jacob's Ladder), "Secret Window" (Secret Window) and "Seven" (Se7en).
Each of these pieces has given us food for thought and left an indelible mark in each of us. And now we suggest you to dive into the fear of the darkness world and the fear of the unknown, when any rustling could be thunder and ordinary shadow could turn into a terrible monster figure, along with the characters of animated short stories "The fear(s) of Darkness" and our of the same track.
Try to walk in Jacob Singer’s shoes, the main character of the mystical Alan Parker's thriller named "Jacob's Ladder" and experience his confusion, hallucinations by listening to the track "Stairway to Heaven".
Reflect the full fanatical obsession with John Doe in David Fincher's psychological thriller "Seven" and the eponymous track on our EP.
And, of course, we’ll speak on behalf of John Shooter with Morton Rhine in the track "Shooter", based on the film adaptation of David Koepp Stephen King’s novella "Secret Window"

Finally it should be noted that, as in many works from the EP "Fear of Darkness" will be continued, so ...
